Dunsborough - Travel Guide

Somehow I've been lucky enough to call a small, idyllic, coastal town in the South West of WA, home for the last few years. Dunsborough hosts turquoise water, lush vegetation, dramatic cliff faces, white, sandy beaches and a convenient proximity to the Margaret River Wine Region.

An easy three hour drive south of Perth, Dunsborough has quickly become a reputable holiday destination. Perth residents regularly escape the fast - paced city life for the "down south" culture, enjoying premier surf, coffee, wine and an overall relaxing experience.

If you have the opportunity, I highly suggest visiting this quaint surf town. Be warned, it will leave an imprint on your heart forever.

Limitless adventures await you. Your holiday can reflect your personality, as Dunsborough has something for everyone.

If you're a surfer or a professional sun - baker, check out Indjidup beach, Smith's beach and Yallingup beach. The waves and landscape are equally mesmerizing. Our  Linen Shirt Dress would be the perfect pairing for a day exploring the gorgeous beaches.

Do you fancy a more adventurous holiday? Take a boat out for a cruise in the bay and enjoying snorkeling, fishing or diving. Prefer to stay on land? No problem, hike the thrilling cape to cape trail.

Are you a firm believer that holidays are meant to be indulgent? Dunsborough is home to some of the best coffee, shopping, wine and gourmet food. Book a winery tour through the Margaret River Region and taste some of the best wine in the world. Many wineries offer free, educational tastings. After a tour, you'll be ready to fast - track your career as a sommelier.

If you're going with a group or family, I'd suggest a holiday home in Dunsborough Lakes. The lakes are situated a short walking distance to town and the stunning bay.

If you're looking for more of a romantic holiday, I recommend Indjidup Spa Retreat. The retreat features adults only villas with breathtaking ocean views. At your doorstep, you'll find the eco - luxe Bondhi Spa, where you can treat yourself to endless massages and facials.

Treat your tastebuds to the divine food served at Blue Manna Bistro, which fuses asian cuisine with fresh, local seafood. It's the perfect excuse to slip into the Jaipur Linen Wrap Pants and enjoy an equally luxurious meal.

Make sure to pop into as many cafe's as possible for brekkie and coffee. Dunsborough is known for delectable coffee showcased at countless cafes. If you're indulging in breakfast, try any meal that features the infamous Yallingup wood - fired bread. Nearly every cafe incorporates this moorish ingredient, designed to drive your taste buds wild.

In conclusion, I am so grateful that I ended up in Dunsborough a few years ago, as my heart will always treasure this eclectic place and the iconic culture it created. If you don't have this breathtaking town on your bucket list, I urge you to scribble it down now.
